The present Ecobee set up uses the PEK mainly because I do think you'll find only four or 5 wires heading in the thermostat into the furnace but I'm able to pretty simply include more wires if needed to get two levels (thermostat is almost right previously mentioned the furnace that is from the unfinished basement).
